Broadway Reviews:

American Psycho, the new musical based on the novel by Bret Easton Ellis, officially opened last week to mixed reviews from the critics.  The Associated Press calls the stage adaptation “gloriously gory,” while Newsday described the musical as “alternately dazzling and dull.”  To read more reviews and purchase discount tickets, click here.

News and Notes:

The New York theatre awards season got underway last week with the announcement of nominees for the 2015-16 Outer Critics Circle Awards, recognizing achievement in both Broadway and Off-Broadway. She Loves Me and American Psycho head the list with eight nominations each. To see all the nominees, click here.

The mega-hit Broadway musical Hamilton won the 2016 Pulitzer Prize for Drama on April 19.  The show has been the smash hit of the season and is set to become one of the biggest blockbusters in Broadway history.  For more on the announcement, click here.
